Sinopse:

“I sit quietly with my alarm clock, close my eyes and open my ears. At this point the curtain rises and the performance begins. My very surroundings seem to come alive, each sound revealing the personality of its creator. There are several sounds which become fixed in my ear like some “basso ostinato”: the continuous whirrings of factory machinery in the distance and the hollow sound of plopping water in a nearby fountain...” (Oliveros, 2003, p.8)

Num daqueles dias em que decides ir ter com um amigo, ou simplesmente vais a uma reunião de trabalho, ou ao café da esquina, ou até ao pingo doce fazer compras. Não interessa, o que importa é que nesse momento defines um trajecto. Aquando te pões em marcha, um mundo sonoro chega a ti. Escutas muitas vezes, mas muitas outras nem se quer dás conta da infinidade de sons que habitam a paisagem, da quantidade de melodias que te tocam e sussurram o ouvido e muito menos de como esse não lugar transita e interfere com a tua vida.
Anjos 4.0, é uma performance sonora imersiva com espacialização sonora para 4 monitores e tem como intuito, levar-nos a ouvir os "Sons interiores" que a ti chegam, como Pauline Oliveros falava. Sons esses, que nos transmitem alguma coisa/sentimento e são capazes de nos pôr a imaginar uma realidade outrora subjectiva e unicamente transpessoal. Dessa subjectividade inerente ao acto de escutar, compus uma peça sonora a partir da gravação de um percurso (soundwalk) e através das paisagens sonoras que gravei no bairro dos Anjos em Lisboa, (re)interpretar ao vivo, a partir da improvisação, essa realidade, com o intuito de submergir-nos na aventura de ouvir o território sonoro de olhos fechados, e reinventá-lo através da nossa própria experiência subjectiva interior.

On one of those days when you decide to go to a friend, you either just go to a business meeting, or to the corner cafe, or even the pingo doce to shop. It doesn't matter, what matters is that at that moment you define a path. When you set off, a world of sounds comes to you. You listen many times, but many others you don't even notice the infinity of sounds that inhabit the landscape, the amount of melodies that touch you and whisper your ear, much less how this place does not transit and interferes with your life.
Anjos 4.0, is an immersive sound performance with sound spatialization for 4 monitors and aims to lead us to hear the "Inner sounds" that reach you, as Pauline Oliveros said. These sounds, which convey something / feeling to us and are capable of making us imagine a reality that was once subjective and only transpersonal. From this subjectivity inherent in the act of listening, I composed a sound piece based on the recording of a soundwalk and through the soundscapes I recorded in the neighborhood of Anjos in Lisbon, (re) interpreting this reality live, based on improvisation. , with the intention of immersing ourselves in the adventure of listening to the sound territory with closed eyes, and reinventing it through our own subjective inner experience.
